As co-founder and leader of Ardent Services, Al is responsible for setting strategic direction and performance expectations for both the Ardent and Rabalais enterprises.
Al draws upon 30-plus years of Upstream, Midstream and Downstream capital project and maintenance experience to direct and position team members within an ever changing, multi-state end user marketplace.
Al’s deep commitment to safety, quality, improving KPIs, and mentorship of junior leaders keeps our I&E businesses at the forefront of industry performance.
Al holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University and has been awarded Qualifying Party / Master Electrician licenses in multiple states.
Over the course of 30 plus years, Al has worked in all aspects of industrial electrical contracting from cable pulling and conductor terminations to project engineering, project controls, capital project management and, of course, presiding over and operating our multi-state industrial electrical contracting enterprises.
Al and his wife take pleasure in donating their time and financial support to a range of charitable causes aligned with education and access to educational enrichment.
As a volunteer for Junior Achievement, Al has taught economics and personal finance at multiple public high-schools in the New Orleans area, and is former Board Chair of Community Works of Louisiana, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to online, classroom and after school educational enrichment in the New Orleans area.
